Paramata (Prince) Bantogen is the mythical hero of the Meranaws of Lanao (Phangampong a Ranaw). He is the king of magnanimous Empire of Magalinday Bembaran. He travels through boundless spaces above lands and seas, with his glistening Kampilan (sword) and gleaming shield. He plunges into countless combats and vanquishes his enemies.
"TAROS KANO"is welcome in English, tuloy po kayo in Filipino, selamat datang in Bahasa and ahlan wa sahlan in Arabic. It is the most commonly used greetings among the Meranaws of Lanao in warmly welcoming their guests with the touch of Royal Hospitality. Also taros kano, ingoma kano, darepa kano, ayan kano are Iranon welcome greeting expressions.
I myself shivered as I watch this video presentation. It's very full of information Muslims and non-Muslims alike should be aware of.
